Low Income Housing

Sunapour,
Dubai, U.A.E.

Omid Rouhani was appointed to design a low-income house for the caretakers of the Bahai Cemetery in Dubai. The budget for this project was AED300,000 and the design scope was to design and build a two bedroom caretakers villa.
The design was based on the most efficient layout using the living room and dining as the circulation space eliminating the need for circulation corridors. The hand polished concrete floor and ceiling through out the house helped give a very honest feel to the minimalist design of the home.
